Midwest Chinese American Science & Technology Association (MCASTA, 美中西區華人學術聯誼會) was established in St. Louis, Missouri in 1983. The main objective of MCASTA is to provide a forum and opportunities for scientists, engineers, scholars, professionals, and community residing in the Midwest to:

• • Exchange scientific and technological information among fellow researchers and professionals across the U.S. and abroad

  • Encourage collaboration in science & technology research and development through the establishment of professional networks

  • Promote professional excellence and understanding of common interest among Overseas Chinese

  • Provide community service in the areas of health, education, and cultural awareness
